The Roswell Woman’s Club continues its long time support of education in the community. In 2009, the Roswell Woman’s Club distributed scholarships and educational grants benefiting students in our community. Scholarships were awarded to thirty-one graduating high school seniors to help further their education. The awards were based on financial need, outstanding academic records and community service.

A Helping Hand . . . for those in need
Among the beneficiaries of past Showcase Homes Tours are:
- Georgia Ensemble Theatre and Conservatory a quality professional, non-profit theatre, offering a season of plays, classes for youth and adults, and outreach programs for “at-risk” youth.
- Child Development Association of North Fulton, provides affordable, high-quality childcare for hard-working, low-income families.
- The Cottage School builds a sense of self for students with special learning needs through academic and experiential learning.
- Housing Initiatives of North Fulton (Homestretch) a transitional housing and skills development program that has helped more than 100 “at-risk” families including 247 children, return to self-sufficiency.
- North Fulton Community Charities assists more than 3,000 struggling families each month with financial aid, food, clothing, and budget training.
- EnAble of Georgia, Inc., EnAble of Georgia, Inc. provides residential and vocational opportunities for developmentally disabled adults.
- Foster Care Support Foundation provides much needed resources such as clothing and furniture for families who serve as foster parents.
- Chattahoochee Nature Center, a nature preserve located on the Chattahoochee River, offering a wide variety of educational programs for families, youth and adults.
