Where can you see a magnificent home renovation, gorgeous gardens, innovative “green” building and design ideas  and give back to the Community at the same time?

The 14th Annual Roswell Woman’s Club 2010 Showcase Home will feature a completely renovated 25-year-old, 10,000 square foot main house with two three-car garages, swimming pool and tennis court. The home sits on nearly nine acres of beautifully wooded property complemented by an array of specialty gardens surrounding the house.

Presenting Sponsor InsiDesign and partner, Clyde Clem of Cornerstone Craftsmen Inc., are using repair, restoration and renewal techniques to bring this exceptional estate into the 21st Century. You will see exquisite details, a dedication to preserving mature green space and an environmentally-friendly, modern living experience.

Twenty-five of Atlanta’s finest designers and artists will help transform the Manor-style home into an exciting showcase of innovative design, with many elements of “Going Green”. Visitors will be able to see fresh ideas to implement in their own homes.

The funds raised from the event go directly back into the greater North Fulton community. The RWC has a highly respected tradition of giving half the proceeds raised as scholarships and educational grants to area students and teachers. The remaining half of the proceeds go to support non-profit agencies in North Fulton, including North Fulton Community Charities, The Child Development Association, Homestretch, Georgia Ensemble Theater, Bulloch Hall, Chattahoochee Nature Center and many more.

The 2010 Showcase Home event will be held March 4 – 28, 2010. The house will be open Thursdays and Fridays 10am – 8pm, Saturdays 10am – 6pm, and Sundays 1pm – 6pm. Parking and shuttle service will be available at the Roswell United Methodist Church located at Magnolia Street and Mimosa Blvd. in the heart of Historic Roswell. The last shuttle will depart from the parking area one hour prior to closing. The Chandlery will be onsite with a selection of fine gifts. The Fickle Pickle will also be onsite offering snacks and boxed lunches.

• Thursday and Friday 10 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Sunday 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The Chandlery will be onsite with a selection of fine gifts.

FICKLE PICKLE CAFÉ

The Fickle Pickle will also be onsite offering snacks and boxed lunches.

TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING:

• No parking at Showcase Home Tour site
• Complimentary Shuttle will run continuously
• Last shuttle to Tour departs 60 minutes prior to closing

RULES & RESTRICTIONS:

No smoking, strollers or backpacks. Insurance prohibits admission of children under ten. Not handicap accessible. Cameras permitted. Cash, check VISA, MC, Discover, and AMEX accepted for tickets, designer items, and café. The Chandlery does not accept Discover Card.

From 400N, Exit 7B Holcomb Bridge Road/SR 140 (Roswell). West on Holcomb Bridge Road toward Roswell. Left on Highway 9/Alpharetta Street. Straight to Magnolia Street. Go one block. Left on Mimosa Boulevard. Follow signs to shuttle location.

Via I-75 from Atlanta

From 75N, Exit 263 Right on Hwy 120 (S. Marietta Parkway) towards Roswell. Turn Left on Hwy 9/ Alpharetta Street. Turn Left on Magnolia Street. Go 1 Block. Turn Left on Mimosa Blvd. Follow signs to shuttle location.
