The essence behind our design was to provide a modern yet functional space that would be inviting to the owner’s family
and friends. Our color palette was primarily neutral with bursts of accent colors to provide an elegant, yet masculine look. The kitchen is the Alpha by Bontempi Cucine in a wonderful gray oak.

420 Canton Walk (Designed terrace-level bedroom & patio)
With a clean color palette and fresh use of bold geometry, this bedroom beckons you to unwind and wake feeling
refreshed and invigorated. The crisp contrast of linen
velvet and bone whites provide the perfect backdrop for a colorinfused geometric print designed by Laura. Hand-painted on linen, the watermark technique blends hard lines for a subtle effect. Mustard and a greige sort of green give a homespun feel to a rather crisp palette. The result: a sophisticated down-home retreat.
With a desire to create simple sophistication and timeliness interiors, award-winning designer Laura Green Thome founded L. Green Studios, LLC to serve clients in Atlanta and throughout the Southeast. A graduate of the University of Georgia’s Lamar Dodd
School of Art, Laura brings more than ten years of residential and commercial interior design experience to her clients from her own studio, The University Architects, Heery International, and Suzanne Kasler Interiors. Laura also writes a style and design column for The Roswell Current.

420 Canton Walk (Designed terrace-level media room)
The terrace-level media room is a collaborative effort of our great team of designers. We wanted to create a space that is functional but so inviting. This is a place for the whole family to spend time or for mom and dad to find a little alone time together at the close of the day. We carefully selected fabrics and finishes that are durable, yet wrap you with a sense of luxury that transcends the ordinary.
Uptowne Designs began more than fifteen years ago as custom window treatment company Just Imagine, but moved into the design arena when owner Melody Tripp fell in love with the whole process of design while installing window treatments for model homes. Tripp and her daughter, Danna Honeycutt, strive to create spaces their clients love. And with a great team of talented designers from many different backgrounds and work experiences, Uptowne Designs is uniquely positioned to do just that.
