Arie Kohn Architects, P.C. is a local design firm that has been involved in many of the commercial renovations along and around Canton Street in Roswell. Equipped with a historic preservation background and as a member of the Roswell Historic Preservation Commission (2002–2010), Kohn led his team in the design of this well-received and successful living community, The Providence Brownstones. Designing a multi-family project off Canton Street required sensitivity to the surroundings and understanding of the city’s Historic District Design Guidelines. The challenge was to satisfy the exterior constraints of building in a historic district, while maintaining interior layouts that are in tune with today’s lifestyles.

For thirty years the Walsh family has developed a wide range of residential and commercial real estate projects across the country, from Chicago and Dallas to Los Angeles. The Walsh family focuses on developing unique communities where residents can live, work, shop, eat, and play without leaving their neighborhood. The Walsh family and Arie Kohn Architects, P.C. have a longstanding business relationship, having collaborated on commercial projects in locations across the country. The idea of working together in Roswell originated more than eight years ago, and the opportunity came about almost two years ago when the land for Providence became available.
